NOTE - All items have had alpha-channel shadows dropped, which may or may not look good in the web browser. When used in the game, the shadows look much better. ;)

Alien foods: will they make you sick? Nourish you as good or better as human food? WHO KNOWS? Eat and find out!

Human food: the old Beer and Burger combo from the original game, plus other items. I image the future will contain lots of quick hands-on kind of food, hence the large number of hand-eatable foods.

And when food goes bad... it looks like this...

The parts from  the game - they all have drop shadows with PNG alpha blending, which looks good, but I'm curious to see how it works in the game. If it looks good, I can drop shadows for the other items too.  Top row is broken parts and special parts, lower row is the ordinary parts.

Black market items

Defensive vests and a rapidheal (vests are taking the place of the Captain America looking shields in the original game). As for the vests, I imagine some might give better protection than others, but cost more and be more rare to find. Also, it would be nice if the "tactical vest" (the first one) could also act as a container to hold ammo clips, but that's an issue we can tackle later on down the line. I like to keep things simple at first. :)

Weapons. The trusty stinger, scatter gun, and a rifle (not from the original game). Instead of the unrealistic result of the gun blowing up when it runs out of ammo, here the gun will simply empty out. You can then have the option of tossing it and buying a whole new gun later, or keeping the empty gun and purchasing ammo for it (if the planet you are on has ammo for your gun, of course).
